Acorns international school is looking for Teaching Assistants who will work under the supervision of the Classroom Teacher to provide support in classroom management, lesson planning and student supervision. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the Classroom Teacher to ensure that the learning environment is conducive to student growth and development.
Responsibilities
- ●Assist the Classroom Teacher in creating lesson plans and delivering instruction.
- ●Support the Classroom Teacher in managing the classroom, including monitoring student behavior and providing feedback to the Classroom Teacher.
- ●Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional assistance with coursework or other tasks.
- ●Assist in the supervision of students during classroom activities, transitions, and other times as needed.
- ●Provide feedback to the Classroom Teacher on student progress and behavior.
- ●Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other information as directed by the Classroom Teacher.
- ●Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Occasional Duties:
- ●supervising or conducting clubs
- ●Supervision on school trips
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in education of the specific subject area.
Minimum 3 years of teaching assistant experience within an international school environment.
Proven experience teaching international curricula
Excellent communication skills and strong classroom management
Proficiency in integrating modern educational technology into daily lessons
