DP Service Coordinator & Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and committed DP Service Coordinator & Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team. Along with the teaching responsibilities, the candidate will be responsible for assisting the Curriculum Coordinator in managing and completing all Creativity, Activity Service (CAS) requirements of the students enrolled in IB Diploma Programme as per the requirements of the IBDP Core requirement and managing the Service curriculum in Secondary across MYP/DP levels.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field (a Master’s degree is an added advantage)
- At least two (2) years of teaching experience in an international school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach DP Chemistry with a strong focus on conceptual understanding and practical application
- Coordinate and oversee the CAS programme, supporting students in planning, documenting, and reflecting on their experiences
- Guide students to develop meaningful service initiatives aligned with IB philosophy
- Monitor and track student progress in CAS, ensuring programme requirements are met
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and the wider community to support student development
- Overseeing the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme- Maintaining liaison with the DofE organization and keeping all award leaders and senior management up to date with happenings, notifications, and information relevant to the programme.
- Create a schedule for all Clubs and co-curricular activities in Secondary, and ensure all students are enrolled in such activities
- Plan and deliver all Service initiatives in Secondary across MYP/DP
Key Attributes:
- Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
- Good understanding of the IB CAS framework and philosophy
- Ability to inspire and guide students in both academic and service learning contexts
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
