Acorns International School is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Head of Department to lead our dynamic Early Years team. This role is responsible for overseeing the Early Years Department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and fostering a nurturing environment that supports young learners' development. The ideal candidate will drive excellence in early childhood education while supporting and mentoring teachers to achieve the school's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Early Years department, ensuring alignment with the school's curriculum and educational philosophy.
• Support, mentor, and guide Early Years teachers to enhance teaching quality and professional growth.
• Develop and implement engaging, child-centered learning experiences in line with IB standards.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring the best outcomes for young learners.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and uphold the highest standards of child welfare.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Leadership experience in a school
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development.
