Secondary Physics Teacher

Kisaasi, Uganda

We are seeking a qualified and experienced DP Physics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student learning, and contributing to a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the curriculum
  • Prepare and implement units of work and classroom activities
  • Develop meaningful assessments, provide feedback, and maintain accurate student records
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals through student-centred learning
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues on student progress
  • Collaborate with team members and actively engage in professional development

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics (Mathematics, Chemistry, or a related field is an added advantage)
  • Accredited teaching qualification
  • At least two (2) years of teaching experience
  • Experience in an international school setting is an added advantage
  • IB Diploma Programme experience is highly preferred
