Teaching Assistant, Primary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Classroom Teacher in creating lesson plans and delivering instruction.
• Support the Classroom Teacher in managing the classroom, including monitoring student behavior and providing feedback to the Classroom Teacher.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional assistance with coursework or other tasks.
• Assist in the supervision of students during classroom activities, transitions, and other times as needed.
• Provide feedback to the Classroom Teacher on student progress and behavior.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other information as directed by the Classroom Teacher.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Supervising or conducting clubs
• Supervision on school trips

Academic Requirements

• Diploma in Education or related, Bachelors Degree in Education is a requirement for Primary Department but an added advantage for Early Years
• Teaching experience is an added advantage
• Experience in an international school is an added advantage
